CASE SCENARIO 16
An eight years old male patient came with the complaint of falling down accident from height. He has injured his left elbow area one week ago. For this complaint the family took him to traditional bone setter first, where massaged with Vaseline and tight bamboo splint was applied. When his left upper extremity starts to have blisters and swelling, his family brought him to our facility. On arrival he was stable but he had blisters and septic joint. x-ray and other investigations were performed and diagnosed with left supracondylar fracture plus left elbow septic joint. For this, surgical intervention was done and the infection was managed accordingly. Finally discharged with improvement
